"I think psychedelics amplify one's environment and one's own response to one's environment and if one's environment is conducive to mediatative absorption then it will amplify that experience. If one's environment is chaotic it will amplify that. Regardless, if one's mind is firmly supported in the dharma then environment has little bearing.
