Introduction
Because of the effort so far devoted to the Spark pages on politics,
science, and reference material, I have not had much time to spend
on this page yet. It is however the page highest on my priority
list after politics, and soon will get full attention.
I will try to provide direct links to trade union pages and to
to articles in net publications which are of relevance to the
labour movement. Please be patient until I manage to get this work under way, or, better still, email me
with the URLs of relevant material, along with a short informative
comment on each one. In return (should you so so desire) I will
acknowledge you by name as the source of the link, and provide
an email link to you, or even a hyperlink if you have a relevant
page of your own.
Finally, the introductory section
of the Spark Homepage is also relevant to an understanding of
the objectives underlying the content and design of these pages.

International
- AFL-CIO's Home Page A very useful page.
- Carpenters' Union Local 1812 A trade union page from Cowichan Valley, British Columbia, Canada.
- US Department of Labor I can't help feeling that this site is more about the Department than about labour.
- History of Labor Day A good article from the US Department of Labor site.
- The Strike Page, A collection of links and information about strikes, in the USA and internationally. Although it is not regularly updated, and most strikes are only summarized briefly, some of the links go directly to sites set up by the strikers themselves.
- The Wobblies The Industrial Workers of the World resource page. They are still in existence in the USA! This site contains links to many other sites connected with US trade unions, industrial disputes, etc.
