The school crest designed by the children of Togher school. It is an illuminated letter "T". The design was inspired by the Book of Kells
We have delighted to announce that Togher N.S. 
has been granted an extension to build a new classroom. We hope that work will commence in the Autumn. Read about this exciting news in our newsletter.
Three girls from fifth class were recently selected from hundreds to participate in a new programme called The Mountain on RTE. They spent a day filming in Carlingford, Co. Louth. The show promises great adventure, explosions and plenty of physical challenges!

Congratulations to all the children who took part in the European Art Project, where they constructed models of European Buildings. They came joint first and won some great arts and crafts materials for the school. We made a windmill, a crannog, the Louvre, the Brandenburg Gate and the Berlin Wall and the Rock of Cashel. The models are amazing! They were on display in the West Cork Education Centre.
