The school crest designed by the children of Togher school. It is an illuminated letter "T". The design was inspired by the Book of Kells
The Togher N.S. extension was officially opened by Mr. Sean Sherlock, Minister of State, Department of Enterprise, Jobs & Innovation and Department of Education & Skills on the 23rd of March. It was a momentous occasion for our school and a very enjoyable day for those who attended.

EXCITING NEWS JUST IN !!!
Togher National School have achieved a Discover Primary Science and Maths, Award of Science and Maths Excellence 2011/2012. All classes from Junior Infants to 6th Class participated to help win this award. The Junior Room reported on Dancing Raisins, second, third and fourth classes learnt how to Make a Lever, a Lighthouse and erupting volcanos. While fifth and sixth learnt all about Energy and Forces, they made a rainbow and designed their own rainbow spinners. Aswell as our participation in Greenwave and our Nature walks.
