How to Make A Lighthouse

We made a lighthouse using circuits with crocodile clips, a bulb and a switch.

Things you need :

empty cylinder tin

cardboard box

plastic cup

switch

crocodile clips

paints – two colours

lots of paper

glue or sellotape

bulb

battery

scissors

How to put it together :

Step 1: Make a circuit with crocodile clips, battery and bulb.

Step 2: Put paper all around cylinder so you cannot see writing.

Step 3: Make hole through cylinder and cardboard box.

Step 4: thread the wire through the hole.

Step 5: Put battery in the cylinder.

Step 6: Attach two crocodile clips to bulb and battery.

Step 7: Place the bulb on top of the cylinder and cover with a see-through plastic cup.

Step 8: Sellotape the cylinder onto the box and also sellotape the switch on the box.

Step 9: Decorate the box and paint it to look like a lighthouse.

Now you have a lighthouse!!
