Christmas Craft Fair
The Christmas Craft Fair was held on the 11th of December 2011. This is our 12th year.
Here we have a few photos displaying the beautiful handcrafted work from the local craftspeople from last year.
Many crafts were on display as in Ironworks, Woodturning, Candles, Bogoak Jewellery, Glasswork, baskets, ceramics, mosaics, silk-paintings, handpainted batik, sand-crafts, wooden jigsaws, leatherwork, water-colours, and Christmas floral arrangements.
This gave an opportunity to local craft workers to display their work at such an opportune time coming up to Christmas. Many people commented on the high quality craftsmanship displayed. The Fair proved to be an ideal opportunity to purchase Christmas gifts and at the same time support the local craft workers.
Due to the success of this unique craft fair it has now become an annual event as it is evident that there are so many skilled and talented craft people in the area.
