    There is a good selection of restaurants in Carrick, offering a selection of cuisine. The Carraig Hotel serves bar meals from 10:30am to 9:00pm. The highly recommended "Weavers Restaurant" in the Carraig serves lunch from 12:30 to 2:30pm and A La Carte and Table d'Hote from 6:00pm to 10:00pm.

    The Far East serves an excellent seletion of Chinese, Cantonese and Szechuan cuisine. Food is served from 5:30pm to 12:30am Sunday to Thursday and 5:30pm to 1:00am Friday and Saturday. Lunch Specials are served on Thursday and Friday 12:30pm to 2:30pm with lunch A La Carte on Saturdays from 12:30pm to 2:30pm. Try the Chicken Satay and, if you're brave, order it Extra Spicy! :)

    The Park Inn serves bar meals from 12:30 to 2:30pm daily. The bar menu is also available from 2:30 to 10:00pm. Restaurant open from 6:00 to 10:00pm.

    Cedarfield House serves dinner 7 days to residents and from Tuesday to Saturday to the public from 7:30pm.

Other Points of Interest

    Carrick supports two theatres and has a nationally acclaimed Amateur Operatic Society. It is the birthplace of internationally recognised band "The Clancy Brothers" and birthplace of Maurice Davin - founder and first president of the Gaelic Athletics Association. Sean Kelly, one of the worlds greatest competition cyclists is a contemporary hero and local son, still living in the Carrick area. Angling for trout and salmon is available and the town provides a relaxed and welcoming base for walking, camping, hill-climbing, cycling, boating and touring.
