Village is situated in the centre of Co.
Roscommon in the West of
Ireland where the N5 (east/west link
between Dublin and Castlebar ) intersects the N61
(north/ south link between Sligo and Athlone ) at
the junction known locally as Tulsk Cross.
The nearest towns are Elphin, Strokestown,
Ballinagare and Roscommon.
Tulsk River runs through the centre of the
village on it's journey from Ogulla Well to Lough
na Pholla , a distance of approximately 4
Km. There are 17 lakes with
high quality fishing
waters In the parish .
The Village has a Post Office, two pubs, 5 retail
outlets, a primary school, church, garda station
and a veterinary practice.
The new Crúachain Aí Visitors Centre is now
open on the site of the old handball alley in the
centre of the Village.
