Bay Watch B&B

Bay Watch B&B is a friendly bed and breakfast, complete with the personal touch, comfortable luxury and a good atmosphere. Newly refurbished, this family-run bed and breakfast is located in Dingle Town Center (An Daingean). Within minutes you can walk to everything Dingle Town has to offer: the harbour, shops, restaurants, pubs, tourist office, bicycle hire, Fungi the Dolphin, post office, supermarket, cinema, and bus stop.

Bay Watch B&B is run by Tom, an Archaeologist, and Veronica, a Registered Nurse. Veronica has worked and lived in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Africa. They presently divide their time between making their guests feel welcome at home and their family.

At Bay Watch B&B, you will enjoy the comforts of our orthopaedic beds, power showers, open fires, and complimentary tea or mulled wine. All rooms have their own bathroom, TV, and hairdryer. Several of our bedrooms have superking doubles, sea views, and one has a jacuzzi bath. The ground floor features a superking double and a family room. For guests bringing their own computer, there is high-speed wireless Internet access available.

Families are welcome at Bay Watch B&B! A cot/crib and high chair can be provided for very young children.

A full Irish Breakfast is served in our breakfast room overlooking Dingle Harbour. We offer a choice of traditional Irish breakfast, vegetarian meals, pancakes with fruit, and crepes suzettes. A late breakfast is also available.

At Bay Watch B&B, we speak Irish (Gaelic) fluently, and some French, Italian, and German. We are a non-smoking house, with smoking only allowed on our patio or outside. There is private off-street parking available, and we are located very near to the bus stop. Guided tours and bicycle hire can be arranged. Maps and guide books are available for guest use. We are happy to make recommendations as to and reservations for the finest gourmet eating houses in Dingle, especially fresh fish.

Having achieved a degree certificate in Archaeology, Tom is delighted to offer guided archaeological tours that include a number of the over 2,000 archaeological sites that can be found on the Dingle Peninsula.

DINGLE — AN DAINGEAN — is the jewel on Ireland's Atlantic Coast, where the spirituality of land and seascape defies description and its ethos of antiquity can only be experienced. Its many restaurants offer an unrivalled cuisine with abundant fresh seafood. Its pub culture is authentic in music and "craic".

Either by foot, bicycle, or car, the Dingle Peninsula is penultimate. If you don't find here what brought you to Ireland, you will journey in vain. An Daingean is above all a character place for characters, many of whom came, but, like Fungie, the resident dolphin, never left — that's the danger!
