SET AT BAYWATCH |

The Baywatch
gang ready for action. |
| (2) |
A typical Baywatch
day starts at 7 a.m. in the morning on Huntington Beach,
California. Today's episode sees Australia's top
lifeguards the Ironmen, take on the Baywatch
blokes in a gruelling race. The beefy fellas have to run
across the beach and swim through the icy water of the
Pacific before a final sprint under the Malibu beach
piers. It's not all swanning around on sunny beaches! |
| (3) |
Hello what's going on
here? There's no chance of David Chokachi (Cody Madison)
and Gena Lee Nolin (Neely Capshaw) getting it on - cos
Gena's married and desperate for a baby with hubby Greg
Fahlman. Gena says: "We were all surprised at how
amazing Pam looked when she came back to work after
having her baby. I want a baby so I can get back in shape
to start filming Baywatch in 1997." |
| (4) |
Pam returned to the Baywatch
set just eight weeks after having baby Brandon. The
little nipper has moved into her dressing room so Pam's
mom and dad, Carol and Barry have been drafted in as full
time babysitters. |
| (5) |
David Hasselhoff is
head honcho on the Baywatch set. "Pam, I
don't care how cold the water is, those boots must come
off." Sensible advice Dave!
Meet newcomer Donna D'Errico. She's already in hot water
with the Baywatch crew after baring all for Playboy. But
that's not all - on her first day of filming she had a
confession. "Er, I can't actually swim." Doh! |
| (6) |
Before starting the
race, David has his race number painted on his arm. |
| (7) |
What a body - and he's
not shy about it either. David tells us: "In fitness
terms, I'm the best one on the show. I'm fine with my
body I bust my ass (ouch!) in the gym and I'm pretty proud of
it." It was David's surfing abilities that helped
him get on Baywatch. |
| (8) |
Pam asked for - and
got - $50,000 for baby Brandon to appear in an episode of
Baywatch. Pam says she wants Brandon on the set
so she doesn't miss out on being a mum. "I don't
want to miss a single day of him growing up, " she
says. "Everytime I look at Brandon I feel waves of
love sweeping over me." Ahhhh. |
| (9) |
"Welcome to
Baywatch..." |
| (10) |
Jose Solano (left) is
the new guy in town - and he's already become big mates
with David. Jose is flattered that he is the only new
male hired this year while three females were added. |
| (11) |
David Chokachi claims
the reason he and Pam are romantically involved in the
show is cos they get along so well off camera. Dave says
Pam actually asked the producers to par the couple off -
and they did. Lucky Pam! |
| (12) |
Dave shows off his new
Speedos. This could be the last time you see Dave's fuzzy
chest - this season he's decided to keep his shirt on
more. What a relief! |
| (13) |
Left to right: The new
Baywatch girls - Traci Bingham, Donna D'Errico and Nancy
Valen. Nacy spend her summer vacation getting in shape
for the show. "I worked out like a maniac because
I'm going to be on the number one show in the world and I
have to look cute." |
| (14) |
Gena Lee Nolin spends
her break nibbling on lettuce and carrot sticks. All the
cast have their own chairs and everyone is warned not to
sit in another cast member's seat! Blimey, calm down. |
| (15) |
David says:
"Baywatch is like no other show. It has a billion
viewers. A billion people! That's your inspiration when
you go to the gym in the morning. A billion people
looking at your ass - I gotta work out!" |
| (16) |
BIG!'s Hollywood
reporter Howie Weiss and Pam. What a nice couple. |
