| An
underwater photographer, Linda is attacked inside a sea
cave. Her boat is destroyed and her partner is killed.
When Mitch rescues her, she spins an amazing tale about a
"sea creature" which is printed in a local
newspaper by reporter Kaye Morgan, a reporter covering
the story. The community of California is thrown into a
frenzy, making life busy for the men and women of
Baywatch HQ. Harvey spots a money making scheme and
starts to sell "Creature of the Bay" t-shirts.
but his lucrative sideline ends when the mystery is
finally solved. A ruthless, independent oil speculator is
trying to get a jump on the competition bidding for
offshore oil drilling tracts by trying to discover which
tracts contain the richest oil deposits. When the
Baywatch lifeguards catch him, they also solve the
mystery of the creature in the bay",
effectively ending Harvey's lucrative sideline!
Meanwhile, Shauni rescues an inner-city girl from
drowning and she feels obliged to rescue the girl and her

| The Trophy (Parts 1 & 2) |
| Caroline,
a new girl in town attempts to seduce Eddie in order to
become popular. Her attempts fail, so she plants her
bathing costume in his tower (Tower 18). Her friends
scoff in disbelief when she tells them that she and Eddie
made love. However, their disbelief turns to admiration
when the lifeguard in question returns Caroline's
swimsuit the next day. Caroline's father isn't so
impressed and presses charges of rape against Eddie, who
is arrested and suspended from Baywatch HQ. Shauni
confronts Caroline over the accusation, but the
frightened girl attempts suicide by jumping off the pier.
Eddie saves her life and she admits the truth. Meanwhile,
a former boyfriend of Megan's, Eric Turner shows up at
Baywatch HQ. He was paralysed a year earlier in a
lifeguard competition, and angers Mitch by leading Hobie
into danger while boogie-boarding. Eric's daredevil
lifestyle backfires when he gets into trouble during a
hang gliding session. Mitch rescues him and Eric promises
to change his attitude, accepting a job as a high school

| Mitch
is having money problems, so he an Eddie moonlight,
lifeguarding at a private party. After a dramatic save,
Dita, the party's hostess and a film producer offers
Mitch a part in her new film. He loses the acting job,
however when he resists her "casting couch"
advances. Meanwhile Shauni is upset to learn that ORCAS,
an aquatic animal rescue and rehab service will be forced
to close due to insufficient funding. She enlists
Harvey's help to stage a bikini contest and raises
$30,000, but is still short of the required amount to
save ORCAS. Harvey saves the day by donating the $20,000
cheque he received a a result of helping Mitch negotiate

| The Fabulous Buchannon Boys |
| Mitch
convinces Kaye Morgan to write a piece about the San
Dimas Pier. The structure is condemned and foolish
surfers like to challenge each other to "shoot the
pier" and face the dangerous rebar which is hidden
during high tide. However, no one wants to pay for the
pier's demolition. Kaye is persuaded by her father Ellis
to hold off on the story, because his firm represents the
owners of the pier. Mitch and Hobie attend an annual
ceremony which strives to invoke good waves for surfing.
They are reunited with Mitch's brother Buzzy and his son
Kyle. Kyle encourages Hobie to ditch Junior Lifeguards
and surf at the San Dimas Pier. The two boys come to no
harm. However, when Kyle surfs alone, he colides with the
piering and is hospitalised. He recovers and demoliation
begins on the pier the very next day. Meanwhile Shauni
and Eddie are forced to rescue hoards of women from
"overexposure" when organic bikinis purchased
from a crooked salesman dissolve on contact with water. Written by: W. Reed Moran. | Reunion |
| Mitch
is reluctant to attend his Class of '72 high school
reunion because it will mean facing his ex-wife Gayle and
explaining to classmates about their break-up. Gayle
convinces Mitch to accompany her (which pleases Hobie)
and the two rekindle their romance during a walk on the
beach. That is until Mitch is forced to rescue former
class bully Vernon, who has been buried up to his neck in
the sand by two nerds seeking revenge. When Mitch and
Gayle return home, they realise that they love each other
but decide to lead separate lives. Meanwhile Eddie finds
a baby under his tower with a note urging him to look
after the baby for twenty-four hours. Eddie is
uncomfortable nursing children, but the infant will only
stay quiet in his arms. A man shows up the next day to
claim the baby, but Eddie is suspicious. The child's
mother, Elizabeth then appears on the scene. She had
hidden her baby underneath the tower to protect it from
it's brutal father. Mother and child are reunited and

| The One That Got Away |
| Lifeguard
and marine biologist Megan is tricked into rescuing a man
who appears to have fallen off a rock jetty. When she
reaches the sandy area between the rocks below, she is
attacked by the "victim" and just manages to
escape. She is haunted by her experience and frets even
more when she discovers that a French stewardess was
attacked on the beach that same evening by a man carrying
the same fishing knife as her assailant. Megan's
attacker, obsessed over his escaped prey begins to stalk
her and traps her under the pier. Mitch just manages to
save her in time and captures the fisherman. Meanwhile
Shauni is exhausted, and when Mitch suggests a romantic
weekend for herself and Eddie, flames of passion are
quickly ignited between the two young lovers. Written by: Ronni Kern. | Thin or Die |
| A
couple of escaped con men, Jake and Cal hijack a boat in
the ocean off San Pedro. They lock up the owner Tillie
and throw her dog Henry overboard. Mitch spots the dog
paddling in the ocean and takes it home to Hobie. Hobie
loves Henry, but Mitch finds him a nightmare to live
with. Henry is then passed over to Garner, who Mitch
thinks can cope with anything. Spotting Jake and Cal, the
dog escapes, resulting in their arrest. Tillie is then
freed and reunited with her brave pet. Meanwhile, Shauni
gets upset when Eddie fails a compatibility test in one
of her magazines. She thinks they should cool off for a
while and Eddie ends up making a date with Nicole, a girl
who's got a sexy phone voice. He is visibly shocked when
Nicole ends up being many pounds heavier than he
imagined, but they have a great time together that
evening. However, the next day Nicole almost drowns after
taking too many diet pills and it is only after a
heart-to heart talk with Shauni, that her self-esteem

| After
breaking up a gang fight on the beach, Eddie and John D.
Cort arrange for the gang members to join W.A.T.E.R., a
lifeguard organised program which introduces inner-city
youths to aquatic activities. Carlos, the father of one
of the gang leaders refuses to let his son, Memo join.
However, Memo sneaks to take part in the program. While
Eddie supervises, Cort discovers Memo and an accomplice
stealing from the lockers at Baywatch HQ. During a quick
scuffle, the goods are retrieved and Eddie and Memo shake
hands to show there is no hard feelings. Carlos comes
looking for Memo during a surfing lesson and begins to
push his son around. Memo hits back knocking his father
off the dock and into the water. Eddie pulls the man out
and with Memo's help resuscitates him. Carlos then

| If Looks Could Kill |
| Allison
Fowler murders a man by handcuffing him to the bottom
rung of a ladder in his swimming pool. As she makes her
escape with a briefcase of stolen money in the boot of
the car and the body in the back seat, she is spotted by
Drew, her ex-partner who gives chase. Allison loses
control and ends up driving off the edge of the road and
into the water below. She is rescued by Mitch who thinks
the man in the back seat had drowned during the accident.
However, the money is still stuck in the boot, so Allison
decides to seduce Mitch in order to find a way to
retrieve it. When Drew breaks into her house, she shoots
him claiming self defence. Eddie who has been suspicious
all along asks to see the coroners report for the drowned
man and discovers that he died in chlorinated water, not
salt water. Eddies informs Mitch who reluctantly sets out
to arrest Allison. When confronted, she pulls a gun on
him. Eddie and Connors arrive at the scene just in time

| Eddie
arrives at his tower one morning to find a homeless man
in his tower. When he tries to get rid of him, the man
attacks Eddies using a piece of glass as a weapon. He
leaves, but not before stealing a picture of Shauni.
Mitch informs Eddie that the man is named Hector. He's a
mental patient who's on the streets because of funding
cuts. Hobie also meets a homeless person, a girl called
Charlie who had her diary stolen by "Hector the
Collector" at an abandoned powerplant. Mitch
discovers that Charlie's mother June was wrongly
imprisoned and manages to get her freed. In the meantime,
Charlie sneaks off to the plant to retrieve her personal
possession off Hector who's sleeping there. However, he
wakes up and Charlie falls into the water. The others
show up just in time - Mitch rescues Charlie and Eddies
tackles Hector getting back the stolen items. Later on,
Kaye Morgan is very impressed with a poem written by
Charlie for the Baywatch crew. She offers to publish it
and offers Charlie's mother a job at the newspaper. When
Charlie kisses Hobie, Mitch realises that his son is

| The Chamber |
| After
recieving a letter from Craig about a great job with some
sacrifices, Mitch goes out on his surfski to mull it
over. He comes across a boy whose father is trapped ninty
feet below the ocean underneath a sunken wreck. The man
(Hal) has only fifteen minutes of air left. Mitch radios
HQ, but after waiting impatiently for ten minutes decides
to go down without any scuba gear himself. It is a
tremendous struggle, but Mitch manages to get Hal to the
surface of the ocean. Inside the Coast Guard helicopter,
both men are flown to Catalina Island where there are two
decompression chambers. However, they arrive to discover
only one is working. Mitch insists that Hal be placed in
the working chamber. He decides that he will fly back to
Baywatch HQ with Eddie and Newman and use the
decompression chamber there. The delay may prove fatal
for Mitch. Upon arrival he is wracked with pain and is
having flashbacks. As he begins to slip away, Mitch has
an out-of-body experience. Only the encouraging words of

| Sea of Flames |
| Mitch
is trying to convince Captain Don Thorpe that wave runner
watercrafts would be an invaluable life-saving aid for
Baywatch HQ. County bureaucrats agree about the
"invaluable" part - they thinks they're too
expensive and are not convinced after a demonstration.
Meanwhile, fugitive designer drug manufacturers have set
up a floating drugs laboratory off-shore in an attempt to
evade the police. Eddie, Shauni and a Coast Guard set out
to investigate but two crafts speed away from the
incriminating evidence. After a call for backup, Mitch,
Newman and Barnett mount the wave runners and prove their
worth, catching the villains and collaring the evidence.
Ben Edwards notices the James mansion on the Gold Coast
opposite Baywatch up for sale after lying empty for
thirty years. When Ben was a rookie, a Hollywood star
named Maggie James lived there, but mysteriously
vanished. Taking a trip up to the house, he is astonished
to meet her again and the two pick up their summer

| Eddie
is insulted by Shauni's father, who doesn't approve of
her daughter's choice of boyfriend, at a McClain
gathering. However he is persuaded by Shauni to attend
the engagement party of her sister Kim. Kim's ring falls
into the swimming pool, and it is Eddie who rescues her
when her fingers get caught in the drain. Robert McClain
shows little gratitude and Shauni decides to leave home,
moving into Eddie's houseboat. On an ocean yacht, Harvey
and Mitch see their poker wins stolen by a masked man who
makes his escape in an amphibious vehicle. They interview
Miles the inventor of a similar vehicle who claims his
partner stole the prototype. Sceptical, they make a
return visit to the lab and are almost run over by Miles.
Mitch climbs aboard the ranger, knocking him out and

| Big Monday |
| After a
wipe-out, Hobie plans to overcome his fears by surfing
the waves of a coming storm, "Big Monday II"
(named after the "Big Monday" gale which caused
thirty foot breakers in L.A. back in 1961). When Lili, a
deaf girl becomes separated from her parents on the
beach, Kaye Morgan offers to help. Mitch is terrified at
the mention of the forthcoming storm, but doesn't know
why. He is snapped out of his thoughts at the sound of a
cry for help. Lili has been trapped by an undercurrent
but is rescued by a mysterious Hawaiian, who leaves an
ivory pendant in her hand and promptly vanishes. Mitch
sets out in pursuit of the mystery hero and unravels the
mystery of his fear. Kaye introduces Lili to sign
language and it opens up a whole new world for the deaf

| War of Nerves |
| Mitch
is being terrorised by a drug lord, Mason Sato whom he
helped imprison five years previously. Sato is now free
and follows Mitch everywhere. At first he endures the
intimidation, but when Sato breaks into his house, Mitch
punches the ex-con and finds himself up on assault
charges. Sato uses the opportunity to kidnap Hobie and
Kaye Morgan, taking them to an abandoned waterfront
warehouse. Mitch shows up and Sato launches an attack
using a dangerous Samurai sword. Mitch gets the upper

| The Big Spill |
| Lane
Brody, an environmentalist and former lifeguard has
returned to Baywatch to investigate illegal chemical
dumping. He suspects a company called Transicon may be
responsible and wants Mitch's help to break into the
plant. Mitch refuses - although he symphatises with Lane,
he does not want to break the law. When Hobie and a
friend Brenda are poisoned after a dip in a nearby
lagoon, Lane springs into action and breaks into
Transicon by himself. He is knocked unconscious by
unknown assailants and an explosion sweeps through the
plant spilling toxic chemicals into the ocean. It looks
like Lane has deliberately sabotaged Transicon, but Mitch
knows he wouldn't risk endangering the environment for
his cause. At the hospital, Lane falls into a coma and
Mitch and Shauni decide to do some investigating of their
own. They discover Transicon files detailing the illegal
dumping but are threatened by the company's CEO, Mr.
Drishler at gunpoint. The two lifeguards must find a way

| Now Sit Right Back |
| Mitch
is not pleased to discover the Baywatch staff glued to
re-runs of Gilligan's Island at Baywatch HQ. He
sends them off on their various assignments, and while
making his way toward a couple of lovers, Eddie slips and
hits his head on the tower ramp. Things begin to go
decidedly odd at this point - Eddie and Shauni have a
series of misadventures resulting in them getting
stranded on an island where they meet Gilligan and
Mary-Ann. Repairing the scarab, which got them into
trouble in the first place, Eddie and the others return
to Baywatch HQ to find that Captain Thorpe has won the
lottery. Thorpe decides to make a TV film about Gilligan
and his friends, but must find Gilligan's missing friends
before he can do that. He buys a yacht and sets out with
Garner, Shauni, Eddie, Gilligan, Mary Ann, and Harvey to
track them down. A storm brews and the entire crew end up
getting stranded again. Eddie falls for Mary-Ann and out
of jealously, Shauni arranges to marry Gilligan. Before,
Garner can conduct the ceremony, Eddie is hit by a
falling coconut and finds himself back at headquarters.

| Shark's Cove |
| Shauni's
friend, Debbie Kent is training for the Olympics, but
Debbie's father is not impressed with her times and
grounds her. Later that night, Debbie sneaks out to meet
her boyfriend, Zack at a beach party and they both go for
a swim. However, Debbie disappears and cannot be found.
Zack claims she has been attacked by a shark and Mitch is
forced to close down the beach when Debbie's shredded
swimsuit is washed ashore. Shauni and Harvey set out to
investigate and are surprised to find scuba gear attached
to a buoy near the scene of the disappearance. This new
turn of events inspires them to find out what really
happened. In a sub-plot, Shauni encourages Eddie to seek
out his half brother Bobby, who he hasn't seen since they
were teenagers. Bobby turns out to have the mind of a
child and the two brothers spend a weekend getting to

| Two
witless burglars, Beggs and Clark steal some jewellery
and hide their loot under a lifeguard tower. They return
the next day to find it missing and turn on each other in
anger. A romantic beach poet named Ian is vying for
Shauni's attention. He dedicates poetry to her and
showers her with trinkets from the beach. Shauni begins
to fall for Ian's sensitivity, because they are traits
she feels are lacking in Eddie's personality. When Ian
finds the stolen jewellery, he uses it as an opportunity
to lavish expensive gifts upon her. The fantasy romance
turns dangerous when Beggs and Clark discover that Ian

| The Summer of '85 |
| Harvey
recommends that Eddie and Shauni see a fortune teller.
Shauni is none too pleased when Rosalind predicts that
Eddie will meet his first true love. Later Eddie is
convinced he spots Lorna Cosgrove, the married women he
had an affair with back in 1985. She tells Eddie he must
be mistaken, and that her name is Caitlin Dulany. However
"Caitlin" invites Eddie to her yacht and says
she couldn't admit to being Lorna while her boyfriend was
on board earlier. Terrible things have happened to her
since their summer fling, but she won't discuss them.
Eddie senses danger, but is tempted to get involved with
Lorna again. Shauni finds out about Eddie's summer love,
but gets concerned when Rosalind sees "death"
in Eddie's future. Garner informs Shauni that Lorna is
wanted for murdering her husband on the last night Eddie
saw her, and the two make their way to the marina. There
a water chase ensues, before the mystery is finally
