Dietrich Fundraiser
On January 20th of this year, 8 year old Tyler
Dietrich was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor. He was taken to
Cincinnati
Childrens Hospital, and a tumor the size of a tennis ball was removed from
the base of his skull. He spent over 3 months in the hospital and endured 4 more
surgeries and countless rounds of both radiation and chemotherapy. He is a 3rd
grade student at Cannonsburg [Ashland, KY] Elementary school, he is a huge
wrestling and sports fan...and he is my nephew.
On May 24th, NCW [Nationwide Championship Wrestling] and OCW [Ohio
Championship Wrestling] held a fund raiser wrestling card to help with the enormous costs
for rehabilitating Tyler as he has to learn to speak, walk, etc... all over
again.

- The Batten Twins [NCW Champs] defeated The Poachers [OCW champs] by disqualification in a title vs title match.
- Scotty Powers [OCW champ] defeated NCW champ "Mr.
Electricity" Johnny Noble by DQ for interference by the Poachers.
- "Sweet" Scotty Ace & "Sexy" Sean Casey w/former SMW star
Buhda as their manager, defeated "German
Nightmare" Killer Kurt & "Tennessee
Studd" Eddie Browning, managed by Steven Taylor by pinfall.
- Cuzin Elwood won a 2 ring, 30 man Battle Rumble.
Notable no shows were Ricky Morton, Beau
James, Super Destroyer, Pyro, Dude Rock
& Vic the Bruiser.
