Demolition of Wexford's historic Theatre Royal began in January 2006. |

14/01/2006: The flytower over the stage was the first piece to be removed. | |

25/01/2006: The stage area and scene docks had been demolished. | |

26/01/2006:
With the tower removed work commenced on the main auditorium. |

The first task was the removal of the corrugated roof. |

The 'Kingpost' roof trusses were the next to be removed. |

24/02/2006: The foyer, bars, box office and cloakrooms were the next to be removed. | |

25/02/2006: Numbers 15 to 31 High Street were next to be demolished. | |
